Wigginton Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic level 2 teaching assistant to work in one of our Year 2 classes supporting a child with complex needs.  This will involve moving and handling and intimate care.  The successful candidate will join a strong team of teaching assistants that support individuals and groups of students with learning and/or emotional and social needs. Previous experience of working with SEN children 1:1 is desirable and it is vital that candidates have a commitment to a child-centred approach, a willingness to learn and develop, along with enthusiasm and a good sense of humour!

The hours are: Monday – Friday 8.45am – 3.15pm.

This is initially a fixed term post, supporting a named child but may involve working with small groups of children under the guidance of class teacher/SENCO.
