• TOTAL SPORTS – CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY CLUBS

  Dear Parents/ Carers,
   

  We are delighted to inform you that Total Sports are running their holiday clubs this Christmas Holidays. The clubs will run at the following venues:

   

  Poppleton Ousebank Primary School - (Monday - Wednesday)

  Huntington Secondary School

  Archbishop Holgate's Secondary School

  Harrogate - Rossett Sports Centre

   

  Total Energy Club will be running at all venues as well as there Football Development Camps at Huntington Secondary School, and Rossett Sports Centre. 

   

  All staff are DBS checked and they are Ofsted registered so you can use Childcare Vouchers too.
   

  The drop off times for EVERYONE will be between 08:00-09:00am

  The pick up times for EVERYONE will be between 4:00pm-4:30pm

  Parents Consultation Evenings

  In light of the current level of infection of Covid-19 in school we have made the decision that parent consultation evenings will be via phone calls as it does not seem safe to have so many people coming into school.  Staff will ring at the arranged time.  Your child’s teacher will use the telephone number which is highlighted as the preferred number on our management information system for the person booking the appointment. Please contact the school office directly if you wish to use an alternative number. Also, please be aware if you receive the call on a device with caller display you will see:

  Either- ‘caller no. withheld’ if the teacher is using their personal mobile phone to call you

  Or- ‘01904553300’ if the teacher is calling from school

   

  Please help us by:

  •             Being available at the scheduled time of the appointment

  •             Being patient if you are not phoned exactly at the meeting time

  •             Being respectful of other people’s appointments and keeping to 10 minutes

• Parent Consultations- November 2021

  Parents Consultation Evenings

  We will be offering 10-minute face-to-face appointments for parents’ consultations this term. Should there be an increase in Covid-19 cases in school, appointments may have to change to be phone conversations; however, we hope this should not be necessary. Consultations will be held during the week commencing 22nd November. To organise these, we will be using the online booking system via Primary Site, our website & email provider. 

   

  How will it work? 

  On Monday 8th November at midday, an automatic email will be sent to all parents/ carers who are the priority 1 contact for each pupil.  It will invite them to book a 10-minute slot on their preferred date, once booked that slot will disappear off a list to ensure no double booking. After booking a confirmation email of the slot booked will be sent to the parent/ carer. There is also an option for parents to say if they are unable to attend on the dates given.

   

  ‘Help, I can’t access the online system!’

  If any parent/ carer cannot complete the process electronically the office staff will be able to book a slot manually. Please contact the office on 01904 552225 after 9am on Tuesday 9th November  to discuss available slots.

  Bookings will close at 5pm on Tuesday 16th November.

  •             Being respectful of other people’s appointments and keeping to 10 minutes
