• PTA Race Night on 22nd April

  The PTA are hosting a race and disco night on Friday 22^nd April at Wigginton Recreation Hall in aid of the PTA. This is an adult only event and we hope that as many parents and carers as possible will come along and support this exciting event! The evening will run from 7:30pm-11:30pm with a fully licensed bar, disco and horse racing events throughout the night.

• School Dinners

  There is a change to the school dinner menu on Thursday 24th March. The options will be fish fingers with chips OR Vegi sausage with chips, & baked beans or peas. Pudding will be ice-cream tubs.

   

  A NEW school dinner menu (Summer/ Autumn 2016) will come into effect from 11th April. A copy of the new menu  is now available on the school website.http://www.wiggintonprimary.co.uk/school-dinners-information-menus/

   

  INCREASE IN MEAL PRICE: ISS (Education)-our contract school meals provider- is increasing the cost of a school dinner to £2.10 from 11th April.

• Headlice Notice

  It has come to our notice that there are incidents of head lice within the School and would ask you to check your child’s hair.

  The local Chemist is able to give you advice on the best product to eradicate head lice and Jane Carter our School Nurse (724683) is available to offer advice or support to you if you have any difficulty with either identifying lice or treating them.

   

  Please do treat your child if you discover lice. There is no need to keep your child away from school following treatment but checking for re-infestation is vital to ensure the problem is solved.
