Y6 Group Photograph
As you will be aware when our photographer visited in April we arranged for a group photo of our year 6 pupils to be taken. As well as a traditional photo the pupils requested we take a more fun photo as well.
Each year 6 child will be presented with a copy of the traditional photo when they leave our school but we would like to give parents/ carers the opportunity to purchase the alternative version should you wish.
We will be sending a proof of the alternative photo home with your child on Thursday with details of how to place an order. Orders must be placed by Wednesday 26th May 2021 to avoid delivery costs. Where-ever possible we ask that you order your photographs online to reduce the amount of paperwork coming into school. However if you need to send the order into school it will need to be brought straight to the school office and placed in a dedicated box in the reception area. Please avoid sending it via class teachers.

We are delighted to inform you that we have booked bikeability training sessions with the City of York’s road safety team during the summer term. This is for any Y5/6 pupil who wishes to take part. This training is free of charge.
To comply with the prevention of cross contamination of Covid-19 guidelines there will be a different format to previous years. This year there will be just 1 session of 2.5 hours duration.
Your child will bring home a hard copy of the attached letter on Thursday. If your child would like to participate in the training we need you to complete page 2 of the letter giving consent for your child to take part. This MUST be returned by 4pm Tuesday 25th May, after this time we cannot guarantee your child a place on the course.
We politely ask that wherever possible you return a copy of page 2 electronically. You can either take a photo of the completed form or scan a copy and send it to the school email address: email@example.com . Please contact the school office if you are unable to send the form electronically and we will make alternative arrangements. PLEASE DO NOT SEND COMPLETED FORMS via CLASS TEACHERS.
Due to Covid-19 we need to allocate places/ dates based on class bubbles. Once we have received consent forms we will allocate your child a date for the training and will confirm this with you via email.
