  TOTAL SPORTS – FEBRUARY HALF TERM HOLIDAY CLUB

   

  Monday 21st - 25th February 2022

   

  Dear Parents,

   

  We are delighted to inform you that Total Sports are running their holiday club this February Half Term at various venues across York and North Yorkshire. 

   

  Total Sports Holiday Clubs are more than just sports and are called, "Total Energy". It is very much child centred; sports, archery, arts & crafts, wide field games such as capture the flag and manhunt, plus party days, fancy dress and inflatables. They have been running camps for 15 years and they have always been very popular. 

   

  TOTAL ENERGY - at least 5 activities run every day that make the day really fun, varied and appealing to lots of children.  

  Children are in age appropriate bubbles and can request to be with friends

  Here are some of the activities throughout the week as an example : 

  Dodgeball, Treasure Hunts, Party Games, Tig Games, Forest Play, Tennis, Tag Games, Man Hunt and many many more.

   

  FOOTBALL CAMPS
  Football Camps will also run at Manor CE Secondary and Huntington Secondary School each day.

   

  All staff are DBS checked and they are Ofsted registered so you can use Childcare Vouchers too.

   

  The drop off times for EVERYONE will be between 08:00-09:00am

  The pick up times for EVERYONE will be between 4:00pm-4:30pm

• Bloodaxe Book Challenge- Explore York Libraries and Archives

  The Bloodaxe Book Challenge being run by York Explore Libraries and Archives and the JORVIK Viking Centre finishes Saturday 15^th January.  If you are taking part please come along to your local library by this Saturday to complete the challenge and collect your rewards.  All children who complete the challenge will be invited to a visit by Cat Weldon author of the How to Be a Hero series on Sat 19^th February. They will hear all about what it's like to be an author as well as lots of interesting facts and tales about what it was like to be a Viking.
